Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Rabbit Hole Brief (the "Service"), operated by Groundwave Labs LLC, collects and how we use it. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to create and identify your account.
Content you submit. The links, pasted text, uploaded files, and forwarded emails you provide so we can generate episodes. Files you upload in the browser are parsed on your device; their extracted text is then sent for processing along with your other Input.
Generated content. The episodes, summaries, and any study material we produce for you, plus basic metadata (titles, source links, timestamps, duration).
Usage data. Counts and minutes of audio generated, to enforce plan limits, and basic operational logs.
Payment information. If you subscribe, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment details. We do not receive or store your full card number; we receive limited billing status and identifiers needed to manage your subscription.

2. How we use information

We use your information to operate and provide the Service — generating and hosting your episodes, delivering your private feed, sending "your episode is ready" emails (which you can turn off), enforcing usage limits, processing subscriptions, providing support, and maintaining security. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private content to train our own models.

3. Service providers we share with

To deliver the Service, your information is processed by trusted third parties acting on our behalf. To generate an episode, the text of your Input is necessarily sent to AI providers. These include:

Google — sign-in / authentication.
Anthropic — generating the episode script from your Input.
ElevenLabs — converting the script into audio.
Resend — sending notification emails and receiving forwarded emails at your capture address.
Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
Netlify — hosting and storage of the application and your episodes.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use a single sign-in session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information and episodes for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual episodes at any time from your library; deleting an episode removes its audio and study material. If you stop using the Service or ask us to delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons.

6. Your choices and rights

You can delete episodes, rotate your private feed link, turn notification emails on or off, and request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; contact us to exercise them.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including private, token-based feed links and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will reflect changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notice.
